WOMEN’S MINISTRIES

Our purpose is to minister to women in our church and in our community. We desire to see women realize their need for a relationship with Jesus Christ and develop a desire to serve Him with their lives. Throughout the year, many opportunities will be available for women to get involved. The following is a list of examples:

Mentoring Ministry is an opportunity for women to form new friendships which will strengthen their walks with God. This is a one year commitment to meet one-on-one with another woman. Beginning in January, new women can join this ministry, and women of all ages are invited to participate.

“Girls Nite Out” is a monthly event that consists of an evening of fun activities, focused around an exciting theme. This is designed to be a comfortable place for women to bring their friends and to just have fun!

"Prayer and Intimacy with God" is held each Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 pm, at the church building. Call Jill Jurgens for details, 762-1510.

CALLING ALL LADIES! The Lord has opened the door of ministry for the women in our church family. The annual Ladies Retreat at Camp Marantha is scheduled for April 15– 17, 2005. Through a number of great circumstances God has called us to serve in this area and we will be organizing the retreat this year for the entire fellowship. I would love to see all of our women attend this refreshing event. Please mark your calendar today. Your help will be needed in several key areas. There will be more information provided for you in the near future. A suggestion was made for women to begin saving $5.00 a week now to make it more affordable. Please keep this opportunity covered in prayer. God is so good!

Women Of Faith Conference in Denver, CO, is held at the Pepsi Center. This is a huge event which averages between 12,000 and 17,000 women. The conference will be August 19-20, 2005, and tickets will be available through the church office in January 2005.

Also note: This fall, the church office will provide a list of new small groups that will meet at various times, both mornings and evenings. These groups meet for six to eight weeks at a time and provide opportunities to study a variety of topics.

Childcare is provided during both Sunday morning services. This includes both infant and toddler nurseries; Sunday School for all ages at 9:00 AM; and a Children’s Church ministry at 10:45 AM.
