6-20-10 Father’s day Prov 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 5 ways to put God 1st in your life & family… 1) F - FINANCES Prov 3:9-10 "Honor the Lord by giving Him the first part of all your income, and He will fill your barns to overflow." 2) I - INTEREST I COR 10:31 "Whatever you do, do it all for God's glory." 3) R - RELATIONSHIPS Prov 12:26 A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray. 4) S - SCHEDULE Eph 5:15 Therefore, pay careful attention to how you conduct your life -live wisely, not unwisely. 16 Use your time well, for these are evil days. 17 So don’t be foolish, but try to understand what the will of the Lord is. 5) T - TROUBLES Ps 50:15 and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me. MT 6:33 "Seek first the kingdom of God [put Him first in every area of my life] and all these other things shall be added unto you."
